Varietà dalle regioni montuose del Messico. La pianta cresce circa 110 cm in altezza e può raggiungere i 2 mt in larghezza. I fiori hanno la corolla bianca al centro e viola verso la punta dei petali. I frutti sono carnosi e generalmente a forma ovale, misurano circa 5 cm di lunghezza e 3-4 di larghezza. Maturano molto lentamente dal verde scuro al giallo-arancio. I semi sono neri.
